Teacher Appreciation Week

  • Send in a card with your student,
  • Include a sweet note and/or treat,
  • Let them know how we appreciate all the time they spend with our students.

On Friday, May 5th the PTO will be providing a catered lunch from Uncle Julio’s.

Bye Bye Birdie Continues Tonight & Saturday!
Newsflash! Rock and Roll sensation, Conrad Birdie, has joined the Army and teenagers around the world are crying out! But before he leaves, he will bestow one last kiss on a special fan! Come see Theatre C’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie” on Friday or Saturday!

Tickets are on sale at the door for $10. The shows start at 7pm both nights. You don’t want to miss this Birdie send off!

Summer Camp Opportunity

The Coppell Education Foundation is hosting the annual Red & Black Interactive Institute. It is a hands-on, interactive camp, designed to encourage CISD middle school learners to explore and experience the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) using examples from the world around them.
Each day corporate partners present their own curriculum using fun and engaging activities designed to extend student learning outside the classroom. The camp will be held at R. J. Lee Elementary on June 26-30 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. All CISD rising 7th and 8th graders can register at coppellisdef.com.

Run to Fund - Coppell Education Foundation

The Coppell Education Foundation’s Annual Red & Black Run to Fund 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run will be on Saturday, May 6. Online registration and race information is available now at www.coppellisdef.com. Discounted rates are available for CISD students and staff. Register now before prices increase $5 on May 3rd.

After you register, refer your friends by email or Facebook to receive a credit back.

The Foundation will contribute $2 from every race entry to your school’s Physical Education program. In addition to this contribution, the funds raised by this event are given back to CISD in the form of classroom grants.

Night at the Ballpark - May 17th

It is time to celebrate CISD Night at the Globe Life Ballpark as the Texas Rangers take on the Philadelphia Phillies on May 17th. CISD Character students, from each campus, will parade on the warning track as we honor Campus Teachers of the Year on the field and the Coppell Honor Choir sings the National Anthem. Reagan Robinette, from Cottonwood Creek, will throw out the first pitch.

Tickets are $20 for Upper Reserved and $30 for the Lexus Club Terrace. Each ticket order, through this offer, will receive a special Texas Rangers/Coppell Cowboys hat.

PTO Spring Grants to North

At our April PTO Board meeting a full list of Grants to the school was approved thanks to the generous support of our North families that participated in our Spring fundraising efforts!

  • Campus signs for communicating events
  • Club time games
  • Casio Prizm calculators for classrooms
  • End of STAAR student party
  • Water Filter water fountain for hallway
  • additional stage lighting

For a total of $8651.00 in Spring Grants – We currently have a couple of other requests for an additional $2000-$3000 remaining to approve. After gathering a little more information we hope to grant our entire Spring allotment soon.

Athletic Physicals for 2017-2018 School Year

Students entering 7-12 grades and are planning to participate in UIL Athletics during 2017-2018 school year can get their physicals done on Saturday, April 22 or Saturday, April 29 at Old Town Family Practice for $20.

Copy Room Help Needed

The CMSN Teachers need your help! We NEED volunteers to come in for about an hour three days a week to help out in the Copy Room. Help will be needed making copies, laminating items and cutting out laminated items. It’s really easy and a great way to get involved at North!

Coppell Education Foundation - Get Involved

The Coppell Education Foundation is seeking candidates for its Board of Directors.

Board members oversee and implement all of the Foundation’s programs, including administering grants for innovative programs, student and teacher recognition programs and events, educational camps, and individual and corporate fundraising. Board members also serve as ambassadors for the Foundation in raising community awareness and supporting the mission of excellence in education in Coppell ISD. Culture night relies on students to run booths that can display information about the culture, food, cultural artifacts, or even activities. Anyone can run a booth as long as they are accompanied by a North Student.

STAAR Testing Reminder

Reminder: The campus is closed to visitors and lunch drop off on STAAR testing days.
NO food will be allowed to be dropped off on March 28 and 29.
The campus will be closed until 1:00 on both days.
